The protocol begins with blood work and lab tests to determine the areas that need to be addressed and what might be contributing to brain fog, memory loss, or wellness decline. Areas that are examined include:

Our specialized team conducts the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) to establish a cognitive baseline. The Montreal Cognitive Assessment is a widely used screening assessment for detecting cognitive impairment, dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease. Our team consists of MoCA certified assessors.

The Mind Menu diet is introduced to assist in lowering cholesterol and blood pressure and promote brain health. The MIND menu is based off of nutritious and delicious meals that are high in fiber as well as lower in saturated fat and added sugar.

We create an individualized program also known as the “Roadmap” that will include recommended therapies and treatments. The Roadmap could include therapies such as dietary recommendations, red light therapy, infrared sauna therapy, audio-visual entrainment, live O2- exercise with oxygen, and more. The treatment plan is reviewed with the resident, their loved one, and the medical provider.

After the therapies have been reviewed, Guardian Angel Homes trained technicians will incorporate the protocols into the residents daily life. The therapies and progression will be tracked and monitored.
