Resident’s, Families, and Friends,
The Guardian Angel Homes (GAH) team sends sincere thanks for your outstanding patience through the impositions that have come with COVID-19. The safety and health of our residents and staff continue to be our utmost priority.
As we continue to monitor the federal, state, and local guidance, our team is equipped to respond to changing conditions swiftly. Our staff has received extensive infection control, personal protective equipment, and emergency preparedness training.
Visitors
Visitation varies based on the federal, state, and local directives. Please check with the Administrator for the most up-to-date visitation guidelines.
Visitation can occur for certain compassionate care situations, such as end-of-life. End-of-life situations w will need to be pre-arranged with the Administrator. If you have any end-of-life questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to our team.
Essential visitors include: facility staff, outside medical personnel such as hospice and EMS personnel that provide care to the residents, adult protective services staff, and licensing/survey staff.

Additional COVID-19 Campus Actions:
All of our team members are required to wear face coverings when at work. We are also encouraging residents to wear face masks when receiving direct care or in a common area.
All essential visitors are required to wear personal protective equipment while in the community and may only interact with the resident they are scheduled to see.
All staff and residents practice social distancing at all times, except when providing or receiving direct care.
Best practice infection control measures have been implemented, and competency evaluations are routinely completed.
Daily personnel screening, upon arrival for work and at the end of their shift, for COVID-19 symptoms.
Current signage regarding infection control protocols is posted throughout the community.
We have increased COVID-19 monitoring for all residents and staff.
Temporarily suspended communal dining with meal delivery, and disposable dinnerware. Additional social distancing per the recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for those eating in the dining rooms.
We are encouraging opportunities for residents to connect with families through video and other digital technologies. We are also routinely updating FaceBook and the Family Connect portal with COVID updates and messaging.
We are postponing large group activities and outings.
